The American Network of Community Options and Resources (ANCOR) is a national, nonprofit trade association representing more than 800 private community providers of services to people with disabilities. Combined, we service over 400,000 individuals with disabilities.

Oklahoma DHS
|
The Department of Human services is the largest state agency in Oklahoma. OKDHS provides a wide range of assistance programs to help Oklahomans in need including: food benefits (SNAP); temporary cash assistance (TANF); services for persons with developmental disabilities and persons who are aging; adult protective services; child welfare programs; child support services; and child care assistance, licensing and monitoring. OKDHS also handles applications and eligibility for Sooner Care, the state’s Medicaid program offering health care to families with low incomes.

Oklahoma People First is a non-profit, state wide, self-advocacy group run by, and for, people with developmental disabilities. There are 18 chapters in the state of Oklahoma.

Cerebral Palsy is a name given to a set of nerve disorders which affect muscle coordination and body movement. Each year roughly 10,000 babies are born with cerebral palsy.
