Jeff Spangler - President

In April of 1998, Jeff Spangler, with assistance from the Spangler family, founded Community Access Incorporated to provide services to Southwest Oklahoma’s developmentally disabled population. In 2001, we opened our Stillwater office to expand services to the Central and North Central areas of Oklahoma.

Jeff has over 20 years of experience working with Oklahoma’s developmentally disabled population, with experience in all levels of service provision. Jeff has assisted people moving out of institutions in to community settings as well as setting up services in family homes supporting all members of the family.

Dona Patti - Administrator

Originally from Florida, Dona received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Master of Health Sciences in Rehabilitation from the University of Florida. She began her career in 1980 in the field of disabilities working in the states of Florida and Tennessee in both vocational and residential community based services. In 1986 Dona moved to Oklahoma and until 1998 served as CEO of 2 Oklahoma non-profit agencies in the disability field.

Dona joined the full time staff of CAI in 1999 as a House Manger working direct with service recipients. Dona has worked in all job capacities here at CAI working up to her current title of Administrator, where she oversees all aspects of company operations. Dona’s knowledge of service provision is exceptional and what drives our staff every day.

Deb Whitehead - Director of Operations

Deb is from Virginia, where she graduated from George Mason University with a BS in Accounting. While in Virginia she worked as a business analyst for Anteon. Deb moved to Oklahoma after marrying her husband Scott; they have 2 children.

Deb joined CAI in August of 2001 as the Bookkeeper. Deb has been an integral part of CAI management since that time, and now oversees the operations of the company on a day to day basis. Deb’s role supervising all aspects of business operations is critical for CAI to provide quality services. Deb supervises the Financial, Human Resources and Physical Operations of the corporation.

Helen Favors - Program Director - Lawton, OK.

Helen started with Community Access in July of 2006. Ms. Favors began her time with CAI as a House Manager caring for people with disabilities. She worked in a number of different capacities through the years and in 2008 was promoted to Program Coordinator, Helen worked as a Program Coordinator overseeing multiple homes until October 2014 when she was promoted to Program Director overseeing numerous Program Coordinators and directing services for a caseload consisting of XX individuals. In June of 2015 Helen was promoted again to oversee all Program Services in the Lawton office, in this capacity Helen can directly, positively influence the care given to the people CAI serves.

Sheri reed - Program Director - Stillwater, OK.

Sheri began working for CAI in January of 2008 as a Program Coordinator in Lawton, OK. Sheri is very dedicated to the individuals CAI serves.  February of 2016 Sheri began serving as Program Director in Stillwater, OK.  CAI is proud to have Sheri as part of the management team and appreciates everything she does for the service recipients.
